Forgot that I had to watch the kids overnight tonight. Today was so glorious that the evening has been torture. Zack screamed for half an hour before he finally went to sleep. And I could have torn my hair out. Speaking of hair, Maya had soooo many tangles in her hair after she got out of the bath. I tore out a lot of her hair without meaning to trying to get it all untangled. It's mostly detangled now, and braided. I have no idea what time they're going to be picked up in the morning. The sixty bucks I'm getting for watching them overnight will help to ease my pain, but it won't get rid of it.
Tomorrow and Wednesday will be even more glorious than today, because there won't be any kids! Woo!
I know I'm probably coming across as someone who hates kids, but I really don't. I love kids. I just hate raising other people's kids. I love my son, and I want to have at least one more child of my own, but other people's children drive me absolutely crazy. *sigh*
Read a new comic book yesterday. Well, new to me, anyway. It's called Ruse, and it's put out by CrossGen Comics. Take a look at it. I really enjoyed it. Other comics I've enjoyed recently: Top Ten, Noble Causes, Rising Stars. (Oh, and when I say I've read it, I mean I've read the trade paperback edition, which is generally six or eight issues in one.)
Well, the movie's almost over, so the kids will be ready for bed any time now. I'll go now. Wish me luck.
